Preliminary Programme and Costs

This document sets out the intended programme and costs for the upcoming Reunion. To that end please have a look at this and get back to me ASAP – before 24 Sept 17 – so I can then get things really moving. I need assistance with getting the word out to as wide a group as we can before December as this will have to a cut-off date for catering etc.

Partners and Ex 1978 Staff

Partners are invited. We will also extend an invite to any 1978 Staff who would come under their own steam – so if you can get contact info to me on any of them that would be great, or better still get them to fill out the attendance survey form.

Costs

The final cost depends on the number of attendees – we will plan on 50 as that would be the minimum to make it viable.

That would work out about 200 to 250 (based on the Ardagh Class reunion the week before) depending on your choice of living quarters.

Eg:

  • Individual in their own room
  • Couple in their own room
  • Individual share a room
  • Couple sharing a with another couple

Your money gets you all meals from:  Friday Lunch to Sunday Lunch plus accommodation Friday and  Saturday.

I think we take registrations and deposits (say $75) and seek the balance in November once we have concrete numbers and a final price. Bank account number to follow shortly.

If we get 70 payers it will reduce the cost depending on the room share etc.

The price will include a “levy” to provide for a bit of hospitality (for us all) and to meet admin costs. If there is a surplus perhaps we could look at some sort of donation, money on bar ??? Ideas???

This programme is the proposed Ardagh Class programme for the week before and ours will be very similar.
