RF CADET DAY OBSERVANCE 2010

Dates, Venues and Times for various districts

Poverty Bay District

The Poverty Bay get-together was held at the Gisborne RSA on 16th January 2010 commencing at 1600 hrs. Evening meal is optional. All ex cadets, staff and partners are welcome to enjoy the celebrations.

Hawkes Bay District

It is intended to hold a get together for the observance of RF Cadet Day on the 17th January 2010 at the Napier RSA Commencing at 1100hrs. All ex cadets, staff and partners are invited to enjoy the company of others in our area who shared the same start in life among the Favoured Few.

Get together scheduled to be at the Palmerston North RSA on Saturday 16th January 2010 from 1400 hrs. All ex cadets and partners welcome.

Wellington Kapiti Coast Horewhenua District

Get together scheduled for Paraparaumu RSA on Saturday 16th January 2010 from 1430hrs. RSA does cater for dinner should people wish to extend their stay at the function. All ex cadets staff and partners welcome. Come out and enjoy the memories of those days gone by and renew old friendships.

Nelson Tasman District

The Nelson function was held at the Nelson Army Office Garrison Club commencing on 16th January 2010 at 1600hrs and will conclude at 2000hrs. All ex cadets, staff and partners were invited to this get together of those favoured few in the district to enjoy once again the company of others who had the same introduction to adult life.

A get together was held at the Clubs of Marlborough RNZRSA Delta Lounge on Saturday 16th January 2010 commencing at 1100hrs. Let's make this a memorable occasion and set the foundation for many more gatherings in the future. All ex cadets, staff and partners will be warmly welcomed.

The Canterbury get together for Cadet Day was held on Sunday 17th January 2010 at the Papanui RSA commencing at 1400hrs. All clubbies, staff and partners interested in reliving those days together are invited to attend. It also offers the opportunity to consider gatherings in the future.

The Central-South's RF Cadet Day reunion was held at the North Otago RSA on Saturday 16th January 2010 commencing at 1400hrs. All ex cadets, staff and partners were invited to come along and enjoy the company with the others in our area who like us shared those introductory days to army life.
