Ngarimu & Weir 69 classes 40 & 41 year reunion

Put on your drinking gear you old buggers, you poor sick abused ex-clubbies from 69 & 70 and get to Rotovegas for the Weir 69 40th (sic) reunion this July 9, 10, 11.

The occasion of our 40th reunion is to be celebrated at Rotorua RSA 18 months late with the snotty’s from 1970. We need some idea of numbers so get the information out to all of your contacts from 69 & 70 and get this thing off the ground. Mike Corbett and Rolly are putting together a great weekend and I am assisting with us “seniors” and co-ordinating the “barrelling and scrubbing”.

You need to respond RSVP but more importantly pass on the info to every qualifying ex-clubbie that you can think of.

W3 Reunion – Proposed Date 19-22 November 2010

W3 will hold a Reunion during the period 19-22 November 2010 in Christchurch. W3 served in Vietnam from 1969-1970. It will be their 40th year reunion and as with the many other reunions, as the ranks diminish, the memorable value of such reunions gets stronger for those who remain. Upham VC+ Bar Class of 1971 reunion

1 Battalion RNZIR Reunion – 22-29 April 2011

Neil Warner and a team of ex 1 Battalion RNZIR Veterans are planning a reunion for those who served with 1Battalion RNZIR in Singapore. The dates being looked at are 22 April to 29 April 2011. A more detailed programme is being worked on at the moment. For those who were with 1RNZIR, whether attached or as a serving soldier, are invited to advise us of their expression of interest in one last trip to our old home Dieppe Barracks as we have been advised the Barracks are being demolished.
