I left the army in 1976 as a Corporal at Base Workshops and went to Kawerau to work in the Pulp and Paper Mill (Tasman) as a fitter. I got married in 1977 to Cushlaand we have 2 daughters (aged 29 &25). I have stayed working in the Mill and presently hold the position of Senior Planner and Shut Manager.
