I graduated into RNZIR in 1969 and continued to serve for the next 21 years finally retiring as the Training Officer for NZSAS in Dec 1988. I moved my wife jacki and 3 young children to Perth WA. Over the next 12 years I set up and have run an outdoor adventure camp mainly for school aged clients. In Mar 01 I rejoined the NZ Army and managed to get a TOD with NZ BATT6 to East Timor. Thoroughly enjoyed the posting as the Pl Comd of the CMA Platoon. On return terminated my contract and am now back running my adventure camp. My eldest is now a Capt in Aust army and in fact we both served in ET at the same time but in different Armies. My daughter is qualified as a high school teacher and my youngest son is a Policeman here in WA.
