After Cadets in 1988 I was posted to Linton Camp as a Movement Operator, In 1990 I left the Army and got into the horticulture industry. This took me to Raetihi where I ran a floriculture property, and started my own part time business. I then tried my hand at market gardening, running a pack house Due to personal situations changing I moved back to Palmerston North for a while and now I am settled in Wanganui. I have been here around 5 years and am self employed in the Insurance Industry. I was a late starter in getting married and having children but got there in the end and now have a wonderful wife and 2 lovely daughters to keep me honest. It is now 20 yrs since my brief Army career (although I was an Army brat all my life) but on reflection I credit my year as an RF Cadet for being so driven in what I do.
