I signed up as an Electronic Technician (Telegoon) and after basic training spent 9 months at the School of Signals with the occasional trip to EME Schools. The learning curve was massive. We were introduced to so many great technologies - all that a young man could ever dream of. Had some great room mates, many class mates and have a few clubby-mates for life. We and our families still keep in touch.
