Currently Sergeant in Charge of the Kerikeri Police, having just ticked over 20 years - 14 in Masterton and the last 6 here. I left the Army in late 1977 and after 6 years working in the family trade as a plasterer, went back into uniform. It still seems like 'just the other day' that I was at Waiouru with all the other 15, 16 and 17 year olds.
