Left the Army after 20 years in 1991. Bought a bar in Vanuatu. Started working with the Red Cross there. Returned to NZ 1995. Currently International Operations Manager, NZ Red Cross. Married to Sandy since 1976. Two adult children. Our son in the Brit Army (in Afghanistan Sep09) I am based in Wellington travelling overseas far too often. mckie@ xtra.co.nz
