Grad Cadets Xmas 1966(thank you Lord!) Recce Sqn RNZAC in Burnham until call for help from 1 RNZIR. Great to see many other ex cadets there too in Terendak Camp Vietnam for a year with ANZAC Bn Tpt Pl and an extra month with American Armor (forgot the Cadet motto-never volunteer) Back to Waiouru QA Sqn, married, 2 girls, both South Islanders. Back to Waiouru, School of Armour, then 2 years in Singapore. Into Green Beret again at 2 Cant NMWC CHCH for 2 years, a couple at Papakura then Burnham tanky again before release after 22 years curiosity. Work for Metalbilt as an engineer fitter ! Girls both away from home one in London - does every Kiwi family have a kid in UK ? and other in Australia. Glad to have been a Cadet Take care.
