Joined 3 Field Sqn RNZE after graduation and completed an electrical apprenticeship. Transfered to 2/1 RNZIR in 1978 as an Assault Pioneer and spent '79-'81 in Singapore in Admin Coy as Tradesman/pioneer. Returned to NZ and lasted another year at 3 Fd Sqn before leaving and starting my own contracting co. Joined the (GCSB) spies! in 1989 in Blenheim and was there 2 years before the wife and I took off for the U.S. been here ever since, living in Hawaii and have 3 great kids (real yanks!). Not planning to return to live in the socialist utopia of New Zealand any time soon, but do enjoy coming home every now and again to catch up with people.
