I graduated from Cadets in August 1964 into RNZEME,posted to CD A&G Workshops, ch later became Base Workshops. I then went to Waiouru as the RNZEME instructor at the School of Signals. I left army service in 1973 and worked in the PYE factory in Waihi for three years before leaving Whangamata for Auckland. I worked there for Plessey in various capacities before moving to Wellington, where I joined the NZ Police as an Engineering Officer. I finished there as one of their Development Engineers.
