Served with 3 Field Squadron RNZE until 1980 when I left the army and joined the police. Served on the West Coast and was Sole Charge Officer at Arthur's Pass for 16 years until 2002. Went to Solomon Islands with police in 2002, then came to Dunedin where I am the Central City Community Constable.
