I left the Army in 1985 and joined the Waterfront in Tauranga - actually Mt Maunganui, as a Foreman Stevedore. Since then, I have spent time as a Cargo Superintendent for a Japanese Trading House (Nissho Iwai), Shift Manager in Fergusson Container Terminal Auckland (twice), Adviser to an Indonesian Shipping Company in Jakarta and an Operations Manager for Toll Stevedoring in Port Kembla NSW. My current position is Operations Manager (Victoria and South Australia) for Toll Stevedoring. I am based in Melbourne. Email: steve_tesar@toll.com.au
