I left the army in 1973. Had various jobs until becoming an owner driver in 1976 First with Croft Combined Carriers in Lower Hutt then NZ Express. Ended up running b-train Rotorua-Auckland and elsewhere 1985-1991 for Direct Transport. Moved to Sydney with Val and our two boys. Wife passed away1992. Now married to Surapee and working for Toll SPD transport (just bought NZR) love to hear from Weir/Ngarimu clubbies.
