After a few years as a primary school teacher joined the justice Dept as a Probation Officer 1961. 1966/67 attended Victoria University, wellington graduating Diploma of Social Science. Retired June 1996 as Manager Community Service Probation Office, North Shore. having completed 35 years with the Probation service.
Married 1961 wife Eleanor, Have four children born 04/62; 10/63; 04/66; 12/69. have seven grand children aged 5yrs to 6mths.
Have been seconded onto the committee of the RF Cadet Association as North Shore Area Rep.
