Gagie Gage (Hanson class)

I graduated from Cadet School in 1973. I was posted to 1 Transport in Papakura. I never stayed in the Army long as life was too good in civvy street at the time with my parents winning the lottery of the time and lots of things happening. I am married (29 years) to Hira, I have 3-children 26, 23 and 18. My 18 year old boy is currently serving in Linton. I wish the cadets were still in Operation (Bloody National Government) because my son would have followed my footsteps. If I had to live my life over again, clubbies and the friends I made there would definitely be a part of that. I have met clubbies from time to time in my life such as Eynon, Pai Serancke, McNaughton, Taanskink, Henry Hollis, Pinky Clarke, Gunderson, Peter Searle, Singa Broughton, Marty Takarangi. It was very sad to read on this site that my good mate Tai Ngata passed away. I am now a big fan of this site after Peter Searle rang me to have a chat and inform me of the association. I have now joined and look forward to further contact.
