W.I. Marino (Morris class)
Living in Sunny Queensland Australia. Enjoyed my most of my time in Cadets. We had awesome rugby; (made the wingers look good by handing the ball to them on a plate, naturally worked hard on defence to prevent opposition wingers getting the ball because Bob C and Richie T couldn't tackle) Anything I missed, our ever-reliable fullback Horsepool was always there to back me up. Small but gutsy forward pack Devo, Moko, Rice, Hunter (not bad for a Taranaki boy), Koszi. Our entire cadet 1st XV back line made the Wanganui U18's except for Richie T. Because he didn't make it, none of us played for them. Our cadet team would have flogged the Wanganui U18's 1981. Married to my college girl from Ngati Tuwharetoa, have 3 good looking boys (got that from their mother). 19yr old son Queensland State Champ Tae Kwon Do Black Belt. (still can't beat his dad though!!). Working for Stanbroke; Human Resources Manager. If you are looking for work in OZ, look me up (could do with some more Kiwi's here). Go the AB's. wim@stanbrokebeef.com.au

P.G. Masters (Hanson class)
Currently Sergeant in Charge of the Kerikeri Police, having just ticked over 20 years - 14 in Masterton and the last 6 here. I left the Army in late 1977 and after 6 years working in the family trade as a plasterer, went back into uniform. It still seems like 'just the other day' that I was at Waiouru with all the other 15, 16 and 17 year olds. The time spent in Cadets certainly meant that anything else attempted was easy. email: Peter.Masters@police.govt.nz
