B.J. Richards (Hudson class)Hey Team. Time marches on so I thought I would touch base with the people who experienced a similar history with me. Most would remeber me as BJ and to those who I annoyed, you have my heartfelt apologies . Left the Gunners in 89 and moved to Aussie and am currently (05/12/2011) a paramedic with the Queensland Ambulasnce Service stationed in Brisbane. Married to my childhood sweetheart and have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Thanks to all those who shared the good abd bad times back in those days. I know Cadet School wasn't perfect, but it was a lot criisier than living at home with my dad. I hope everyone is in good health and living well. Hope to catch up soon. Kind regards to all. BJ

I served for 20 years, in various postings in RNZSigs. Also posted on TODs to Infantry and Logistic Corps. Since leaving the Army, I completed my Bachelor of Education, and Diploma of Teaching and Learning. I am currently a Primary School Teacher. This is a far cry from the Whip Wing with Miss Cathy. Time in the Army prepared me well for my current vocation.

Enjoyed (most of)! my time as a cadet. A quick way to grow up and a good kick-start to life. Also fortunate to have been a staff member for a couple of years as well (Pl Sgt 1983-84). Would do it all over again. After a rewarding career with the Guns, retired in '97 to Tauranga as a stevedoring foreman. Still with same company (International Stevedoring Operations) as Tauranga Manager. Married with 3 kids. Great to bump into the odd familiar face from time to time. Email GrantR@iso.co.nz
