RM Ross (Hanson class)

Posted to 3 Field Squadron Dec 73, carpenter. Changed to Infantry in 77, held a variety of posts as Regimental Sergeant Major and finished my non commissioned career as Formation Sergeant Major, 3rd Land Force Group, Burnham. Commenced my 'Commissioned From the Ranks' career in 2000 and retired from the Regular Army in May 06. Continue to do part time work for Army under the Youth Life Skills Programme. Franchise owner for Sterling Property Investments (Tasman/Westland) Ltd. Married to Jenny (26yrs), a son (24)serving in Linton (Infantry) and a daughter (22). Reside in Stoke, Nelson.

Brian Ross (Ardagh class)

I had my 15th Birthday a fortnight after arriving in Waiouru, stayed there for 3 winters, rose to the rank of CSM B Coy posted to 1 Gen troops workshop Linton, Discharged and stayed in Palmerston North for a while, have ended up on the Gold Coast Australia for the last 28 years,For the last 5 years I have lived on a 48ft Cruiser with my 2nd wife, currently fitting windows for my son in law in Townsville.

G.J. Rudolph (Upham class)

Graduated 72 posted 21 supply then over to cautley.When I got out spent 4years in Italy playing rugby spent a further 5yrs in UK playing rugby and cricket. Returned home and I currently have a earthmoving business. Will never forget those clubbie days.

P.J. Rule (Taylor class)

After a two year posting at 1RNZIR C Coy, I left and came to England and joined the Royal Marines. Served in Commachio Group R.M and 42 Cdo R.M. Spt Coy mortar troop. R.B.H. Ryan (McKinnon class)

(More recently) I was posted to RNZSigs after graduation, served in 4 Sig Sqn, HQNZFORSEA, 3 Sig Sqn, FMG Sig Gp & HQ FMG & Sig Sqn, left the NZ Army after 12 1/2 years in 1991. Joined the United Nations as a Radio Officer in UNIFIL (South Lebanon). After one year sent on TDY (TOD) to MINURSO (Western Sahara) as a Radio Officer and then Air Operations. Returned back to UNIFIL in June 98, as the Admin Officer for Communications Section. Currently in MONUC (DR Congo) since September 1991 as the Communications Operations Officer. Married to Rachida with 3 girls, Nadia (7 years, Christina (6 years) and Sophia (2 years).

Served in Vietnam 1969-71. Left army in 1972. Moved to Gisborne, married three times one son, now living in Australia.

J.B. Sanderson (Shuttleworth class)

Transferred from RFC to RNZ Signals 1957 training as a Technician. Transferred to CD Sig Troop for a year or so around 1961. Back to Sigs School then discharge in 1963. Serviced Radio & TV for a few years...got tired of that & went commercial fishing (which I was brought up with). Returned to the Electronics world. All the time enjoying Ham radio & building my own equipment (the greater part of it) I've been a long time student of an ancient mystery school where I've been able to develop one or two little known attributes of mind which come in very handy in life. C.C. Sargisson (Webb class)

Graduated into RNZSigs where I spent 4 great years at Addington Military Barracks posted to 3 Signal Squadron. Left the Army in 1989 and joined the NZ Police and have been there ever since. Currently stationed at Christchurch Central. Happily married with an 8 year old son.

M. Saunders (Thornton class)

Right from the start they got my initials wrong. They had me as M.J. which was never corrected. I loved the cadets even if it didn't love me back. Funnily I have no contact with people from my year there.

R.D. Seabourne (Barrowclough class)

Hi all. Been in KL since 2003. Retired in 2006. Still love the lifestyle here. Visit NZ and Oz regularly and to many other placesas well. Scuba diving around SE Asia is my main hobby. 1 wife (original) still teaching. 4 kids, (2 on Gold Coast and 2 in NZ) 11 grandkids and 1 great grandson. Recent activities 4WD dune bashing in Wahiba Sands, Oman, and scuba trip to Komodo Isoland, Indonesia.
