Graduated December 1981 into RNZAOC as an Autoparts Storeman. Posted to 4 ATG Wksp, QA LAD back to ATG Wksp then to 1 Field Wksp, across the road to 1 TFR LAD then to 1 base Wksp where I stayed until I took my release at the end of 1989. I am married to Helen Ramsay..Don Don Ramsay's sister and we have a 3 year old son Hamish. We live in Ngaruawahia, however I work in Auckland for Titan Plant Services, I'm the Parts Manager Volvo Truck and Bus, Auckland Region. I must say the Army certainly taught me well as the knowledge and experience I gained helped me greatly as it took me 14 odd years to start at the bottom and get me where I am today. For those who might want to know, my father Keith is still going strong and living in Manurewa. My email address is pault@titanplant.co.nz Cheers, Paul.

S.E. Trail (Morris class)

Joined the cadets as a chef (tucker ***** as we were known) then moved to transport , which I have been involved in ever since. As I work in the courier industry and have done for the last 26 years and I enjoy it. I found that cadets was great in setting me up for the future when it came to work ethics, something the latest generation lacks. The friends I made in the cadets I have not forgotten. One thing I still do is my ironing as my wife can't do as good (those railway tracks piss me off). I have 2 girls and 2 boys and 2 ex wives, but wife no. 3 is great 14 years married and still going strong.

K. Turvey (Gentry class)

Just to let you know I'm still around. I'm still alive and kicking, medically retired. After leaving the army in 1971 after 8yrs, I undertook a number of job's, driving ambulances, selling ice cream for general foods (Tip-Top), railway work-shops and the best job of all I think, was driving NZR road-services, both route work and tours. This is where I met my second wife. Moved to Aussie 1977. Once again looked for work. In the end, I joined the RAAF as a driver until they disbanded the mustering in 1991-92 so they sent me on a cook's course. I completed this and finished up doing 20yrs & 6mths, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have now been retired some 4yr's, down here in good old Tasmania, a place about 40k's south of Hobart, in what is known as the Apple Valley I play a little golf, a little fishing and what ever else I can fit in and I'll leave that to your imagination; about to join the wooden boat club which should be quite interesting. Life's not too bad, couldn't be better KEVINMisterT@aol.com
