Accommodation:
Barrack accommodation has been tentatively booked for the weekend for thirty pers (this can be adjusted accordingly). Occupancy is from 1400 Friday 14 th – 1000 Sunday 16 th August 2020. Cost is $23.43 per night (total $42.86 for the weekend). The booking is for rooms in the newly refurbished Messines accommodation block which keeps us away from camp somewhat.
Other accommodation options are:
-Totara Lodge, 68 Ararino Str (Bookings.com as at 24/2/20 $300 for two nights). This would be my best pick if not using barracks.
-Hawkes Inn, 704 Fergusson Drive (Bookings.com as at 24/2/20 $279 for two nights)
Another option could be air BnB
There are also multiple accommodation options in the greater wellington region e.g. Wellington CBD, Lower Hutt.
Travel:
If flying options to Trentham form the airport are:
Bus/Train – Airport Flyer to Wgtn Train Station then train to Trentham, cost approx. $25 and takes about 1hr 15min depending
Super Shuttle – Cost approx. $90 ea but if you did a chartered group booking I believe that it is say $90 plus an additional $7/person. This might be the best way if travelling as a group say from Auckland.
Bus/Bus – Aiport Flyer to Lower Hutt Queensgate then transfer to the 110 Bus to Upper Hutt/Emerald Hill. Cost approx. $20. Please let me know if this is something you might do in order for me to tell you how to transfer. Time approx. 1hr 45mins depending.
If there is a group of you, let Justin know and we can see if we can pick you up. Group is three or more.
Hire a car for the weekend. Most car rental companies are represented at the Wellington airport.
Food
Due to Trentham camp dining facilities being contracted out, Saturday breakfast and lunch will need to be self-organise. There are multiple restaurants/takeaway outlets within walking distance of Trentham camp or 5 min drive in Upper Hutt.

Contact
From the whiteboard we wrote our contact details on at the 25 year reunion I have placed these into an excel spread sheet (see attached sheet). As you will see it is not complete with all our details. Can I ask that you check it, amend where necessary and send back to me. Additionally contact those who are not on the list and tell them we are having a reunion this year and they need to come.
I have also put my hand up to be the 1990 Burrows Class representative on the RFCS Association. An up to date contact list will help to inform you better as to what is going on within the RFCS association and accordingly what benefits you might be entitled to.
Plug …
If you haven’t visited it yet or aren’t a member I highly encourage you to join the RFCS Association. Their webpage can be found by googling RFCS Association or here.
I know that there is a lot of information to digest but prompt feedback identifying that you want to attend will be greatly appreciated
Disclaimer:
From the organising committee (Adam Plumstead, Patrick Krippner, Paul Hodges and myself)
We will not be organising All Black Tickets nor transport into Sky Stadium.
Travel to Trentham and return is individual responsibility.
Prices are indicative only and we have tried our best to be as accurate as possible
The Friday night get together is for us, RFCS 1990 Cadets and Staff, unfortunately no partners allowed however it is a good opportunity to bring them to Wellington for the weekend and spend Saturday with them and go to the game (might be a way to sell the a weekend getting drunk and catching up with some mates to them).
Regards
